Vidya Balan starrer The Dirty Picture will finally be showcased on television and that too on prime slot. Confirming this, Sony TV’s senior executive vice president and business head, Sneha Rajani, said that the film will be premiered on television on August 26th at 12 pm and 8:30 pm.

The film was slated to be premiered on television in April but the ministry of information and broadcasting forbid the channel from doing so.

It may be mentioned here that the film earned Vidya Balan the National Award for Best Actress.
