Kollywood is gearing up with six movies releasing during the first weekend of August, which were been waiting to see the daylight from a while, due to the release of big films Ajith starrer Billa 2 and SS Rajamouli directed Naan Ee.

Mediaone Global Entertainment Limited producing Mirattal directed by Madhesh is slated to hit the screens all over Chennai on Aug 2nd, on the occasion of Rakhi. Vinay and Sharmila Mandre are playing the lead roles in Mirattal that also casts Santhanam, Prabhu, Ganja Karuppu, Pradeep Rawat, Mansoor Ali Khan, Pandiarajan, Uma Padmanabhan and Adams in the vital roles.

Kamala Kannan directed Madhu Baana Kadai featuring Rafeeq and Iswarya, and director Sri Bhavansekar helmed Yugam with newbies Rahul Madhav, Deepti are the other two staright movies marking their release during the first weekend of August in 2012. Along with these audiences in the tinsel town also have 3 dubbed movies Veeraiah, Total Recall & Gokulathil Kannan to go watch during the Rakshabandan weekend.
