Amala Akkineni is making a comeback. She is playing a key role in Sekhar Kammula’s Life Is Beautiful that has newcomers in the lead roles. Amala and Shriya Saran are playing very important roles in the film.

Amala was once a leading actress in South India. After marrying Akkineni Nagarjuna, she stopped doing films and kept herself busy with her NGO work – Blue Cross. Her son Akhil has grown up to be a dashing young man. Now with ample time at her disposal, Amala is getting back to her first love, acting. We now have to wait and watch, if Amala will be signing more films.
