Samsung recently launched the Samsung S Plus handset which is part of their Galaxy range. The handset has a decent and the standard design that Samsung generally sticks to. It has all the features that the Galaxy range handsets that are available in the market. The Samsung S Plus is basically the successor of Samsung Galaxy S and what needs to be seen is whether this handset is better than its predecessor or not. Needless to say that the phone is 3G enabled and has GPS technology too. The standard features such as organiser, Image/video editor, document editor, predictive text input (Swype). This smart phone is no doubt faster than its predecessor and that is the processor that has been used for this handset is 40% faster than that of the Samsung Galaxy S.The Samsung Galaxy S is just a slightly tweaked up version of the Galaxy S and sure is lighter that its predecessor. The main features and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S Plus are as follows:

Coming to the features related to the audio of the handset, the Samsung S plus supports MP3 and WAV ringtones. It has a standard 3.5 mm ear jack for pluging in the headset in case you do not want to use the speaker. The quality of the speakers is quite good.

The Samsung S Plus seems to be a great phone but the biggest drawback that it has is that it lacks an LED Flash, and thus taking pictures during the night is not possible. The camera is capable of shooting videos though.

If you already own the Samsung Galaxy S then I don’t think that you will need to upgrade to this phone as your handset has almost the same features as this one and there nothing special that makes this phone stand out from the rest. Moreover, the Samsung S plus has been priced at Rs.22,500 which is quite expensive keeping in mind the features that the handset packs.
