In order to take the circus to New York, Alex & co must make sure that their act worthy of it. How they reinvent the circus and escape from DuBois forms the rest of the story.
Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted Review: Script Analysis
Writers Eric Darnell and Noah Baumbach have done an excellent job. The movie has so many laughs that you will be barely able to catch your breath in between! They’ve managed to successfully carry on all the quirks of the characters and even give importance to the new ones in the third part of the Madagascar series. King Julien’s romance is something that will make you laugh every time you see the couple on screen.
Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted Review: Voice Performances
Ben Stiller as Alex, Chris Rock as Marty, David Schwimmer as Melman and Jada Pinkett Smith as Gloria are very good (as they were in the previous movies). Sacha Baron Cohen adds the extra bit of craziness as King Julien XIII. Frances McDormand is beautifully vicious as Captain Chantel DuBois.
Bryan Cranston is apt as the voice of the fierce Vitaly. Martin Short is good as the hyperactive and extra cheery Stefano. Jessica Chastain is sensuous as the voice of Gia.
Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted Review: Direction & Technical Aspects
Directors Eric Darnell, Tom McGrath and Conrad Vernon sure know how to use their visuals. They have done a fabulous job in creating the fantastic chase scenes and their circus acts. Their act in London is bloody marvellous!
Hans Zimmer’s music, as usual, is very good. Kendal Cronkhite’s production design is rich. Editing by Nick Fletcher is crisp. The little ones will definitely love the visual effects. For once, the 3D is worth the dazzling, trippy and swirling effects.
Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted Review: The Last Word
Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted is a thoroughly entertaining film and has got loads of laughter packed. Don’t miss it.
