It is known to all that Dil Raju is producing Mahesh-Venky starrer Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu under Srikanth Addala direction. Dil Raju had real tough time convincing two top heroes and then finding the right heroines for them.

When everything looked to be set and movie started shooting , Prakash Raj, who was playing the role of Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu’s father in the movie, has walked out of the film after having a difference of opinion with Dil Raju. After that Tamil actor Satyaraj was screen tested as a replacement, but the team was not satisfied with the look and they continued their search for Mahesh and Venky's father role.

Now the latest buzz is that Srikanth Addala and producer Dil Raju are in talks with popular hindi actor Anupam Kher to play the role of Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu’s father in the film. Anupam Kher confirmed the news but added that nothing has been finalized yet. Meanwhile, the film will soon be shot in Ramoji Film City and Mahesh Babu is going to join the team again on March 12.
